Emory's first!
she was playing the diva card for a little while until she got a taste and decided to be a little more amiable:oD
can't believe that she is one already- it goes so much faster with the second child, honestly!
i had the closest to an easy, quick, and painless labor and deliver with Emory as you could get.
from the beginning she's had an opinion about everything but been the sweetest girl i could ask for.
so very very thankful that she's mine.
she's my little vacuum, putting every single thing in her mouth and my cleaning girl, wiping down everything in her path with a baby wipe- heaven knows i need a natural cleaner!
she loves to sing and dance, read books and giggle.
she could walk if she wanted to but is stubborn and won't, and she finally has one and a half teeth pushed through.
she has the sparkliest eyes i've ever seen and her smile reaches them.
she has her daddy's lashes, dimples and sense of humor.
she won't say momma unless she's sick or hurt and says dadda all day long.
she adores her daddy but she's momma's girl, at least for now.
her little feet kick with joy during every stroller ride, shopping cart ride, bike ride etc
she keeps us on our toes!

i've made a bit of progress on my list for the party. the butterfly garland and gift bags are done.
(if you are reading this Annie, i forgot that Janet had bought these so i'm not using Emilia's after all- but thanks!)
Some very sweet friends and family have called and offered to take some things off my hands so i don't have as much to do.
Thank you Annie, Jess, Tara and Jillie! Of course, as usual my mom and mother in law are super helpful and taking care of more than their fair share.
Looking forward to seeing friends and family at the party tomorrow!! it's going to be hot but we will have shade and a sprinkler so feel free to bring swim suits along with your tea party clothes:O)

All looks great! Emory and Addie would sure be friends, they have some very similar qualities, including the saying "Mommy" or lack thereof!
what an incredible story elise! thanks for sharing! It's so easy to get in the stride of life and forget about the battle that goes on. so encouraging to know we're not alone though.
