Our heater decided not to work today.
Pros:
-at least it wasn't last week when it was below 0.
-we have a home, even if it IS falling apart!
Cons:
-obviously, it's COLD!
-babies need to be warm... they don't sleep well if they are cold, and if they don't sleep well, they don't really do anything well.
-unless its a quick(free) fix, we are out of coming up with money options.
The babies look pretty funny and chubby with layers on, and i've just turned the oven on to warm things up a little.
such is life!
worrying won't help, so i'm trying not too.
hopefully Joel will get home from work and it will magically be fixed!
last night was a really long, draining night with little sleep involved.
this morning Leland woke up crabby and was frowning as he came over to see Emory.
she looked up at him and smiled her brother-you-are-the-best-thing-i've-ever-seen smile.
he couldn't help smile back at her and said " Emmy make it easy to smile, Momma'. and he was right.
thank God for our kids, the things they say and the ways they make us think.

Aw, how sweet!
Things will get better woman soon! It always seems that when it rains it pours on our finances and then something comes along and things get better! Love those babies - they are too cute!
also, this picture is not from today!!! poor emmy would be shivering if it was.
