quilt that i made in less than 24 hours because i forgot the shower was on sunday:



grocery bag/tote that i did while Joel was in the ER (again) and messed up the straps (now fixed). made out of a thrifted 25 cent pillow sham:

pin cushion! made from the fabric i won in the Vanessa & Co. giveaway.
i made one for myself, one for my friend Annie and helped my friend Jaime make one too- her first sewing project!

so quite the start to the class!
i'm sure i will have to take it a bit slower now, i'm already behind about 4 projects it seems.
I'm currently working on some tie onesies for gifts and going to start on a diaper cake this weekend.
i also have to make one more boy quilt, like the one pictured for the sweet Joelle. hopefully this one will be all the way quilted!

i have yet to finish our lesson planning so that is the main focus of this week, other than, you know, raising kids.
