Miss Mustard Seed is an inspired thrifter, amazing painter, constant project finisher, momma and wife of a youth minister.
i really want to know how her house stays so awesome with youth group kids coming over.
any-whoooooo, Marian was crazy enough to offer a design consultation to a lucky reader and was (of course) overwhelmed by entries. i was lucky enough to get into the finals!
i am fully aware that i am getting mostly a pity vote, but i could really use her help so i guess i'm okay with that?
honestly, i'm not complaining about our house because we are so blessed to have one, but i'm overwhelmed by it due to the sheer amount of work that needs to be done. i don't know where to start!
and everything is high pressure when you know that you won't be able to just do it again if you don't love it:o)

there are lots of other great spaces that i know would look awesome and have crazy challenges such as strange angles, weird wall sizes and much more. There is a gal who's bed is on her floor instead of a bed frame, just like us! (we are lucky our sweet friends are passing their bedroom furniture along to us soon) Another gal with an adorable pup named MacGruber!!!! cracked me up :O) i know any one of us would be thrilled to win :O)

PS - My hubby named him MacGruber because we used to laugh about what a silly SNL skit it was and thought the name sounded funny. One year later, the movie came out. Now we're the couple with the dog named after a flop movie! :)

Congrats I see you won Miss Mustard seed's contest. I was wondering where you lived, if you were close and needed a couple of pieces of furniture that I currently have sitting on my garage (coffee table, some other misc stuff). You're probably 4 hours away - not really worth the gas to pick up a coffee table if you were even interested. I live in Indy. Let me know if you happen to come this way and you want a furniture donation or two.
